What we fit in Stourbridge

Impact protection. Protection around the opening helps stop forklifts damaging expensive insulated leaves.
Heated frames. Freezer frames and thresholds are kept just warm enough that ice cannot form on the seals.
Pressure relief. Relief valves to balance pressure after the door closes or during defrost.
Tight seals. The leaf pulls in against its gaskets on closing so cold air stays where it belongs.
Thick insulation. Insulation thickness is chosen for your operating temperature, with heavier leaves for freezers.

Typical scopes of work

Adding a heated pressure relief valve to a freezer room where suction makes the door hard to open once it closes.
Fitting freezer-grade PVC strip curtains behind cold store doors that stand open during loading.
Fitting a hinged chiller door with a stainless steel finish to a walk-in cold room in a commercial kitchen.

Safety law for industrial doors in England

Industrial doors in Stourbridge are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

Access, phasing and timing

Sites in and around Stourbridge vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.
