Options for dock levellers in Macclesfield

Telescopic lips. A sliding lip that reaches further and lands exactly where the driver needs it.
Velocity fuse. If pressure is lost suddenly, the platform locks instead of dropping.
Pit work. Existing pits repaired or re-edged; new pits detailed for groundworks.
Toe guards. Guards along each side keep feet out from under the moving platform.
Swing-lip levellers. Robust hinged-lip levellers for standard trailer traffic.

Examples of work we can quote for

Supplying box-frame levellers to a groundworks contractor for casting into a new-build dock edge.
Fitting an edge-of-dock leveller to a lightly used bay where a full leveller pit is not needed.
Replacing worn swing-lip dock levellers in their existing pits, with pit edge repairs and new dock bumpers.

Questions from businesses in Macclesfield

Can you replace the dock leveller at our Macclesfield warehouse using the existing pit?

Usually, yes. We measure the pit on survey and allow for any cutting, repair or re-edging needed. If the new unit is a different size, the quote covers the pit modifications as a separate line.

How long does it take to fit a dock leveller in Macclesfield?

A single leveller into a prepared pit is typically fitted and commissioned in a day. Pit repairs or modifications can add time, and we plan work around your loading schedule, bay by bay.

Which leveller type suits our vehicles in Macclesfield?

Swing-lip suits most standard trailer traffic. Telescopic lip suits vehicles parked off the buffers, trailers with tail lifts, or loads packed right to the rear. We recommend after recording your vehicles on survey.
