Options for high-speed doors in Craigavon
- Breakaway bottom bars. If a truck catches the door, the bottom bar breaks away rather than bending the frame.
- Self-repairing curtains. After a knock, many curtains reset themselves automatically instead of waiting for an engineer.
- Light curtains. Full-height safety light curtains in the frame stop the door closing on anything.
- Vision panels. Clear vision strips or windows so drivers can see through the closed door.
- Fabric doors. PVC-coated fabric roll-up doors for internal routes and sheltered external openings.
Jobs we can carry out
- Fitting a self-repairing fabric door between production and dispatch where a conventional shutter stands open all shift.
- Cutting induction loops on both sides of a high-speed door so forklifts trigger it but pedestrians do not.
- Interlocking two high-speed doors as an airlock between a clean production area and the general warehouse.
Who is responsible for door safety at a site in Craigavon?
In Northern Ireland, the business in control of the premises must keep doors and gates safe under the Workplace Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1993 and maintain work equipment under PUWER (Northern Ireland) 1999, with HSENI as the regulator. The installer who supplies or motorises a door hands over the conformity documents and user instructions; CE marking remains the relevant mark for machinery here.
Access, phasing and timing
Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to install a high-speed door in Craigavon?
A typical fabric door is fitted and commissioned in a day once it arrives. Spiral doors, interlocks and floor loops add time. The manufacturer's lead time is confirmed with your quote, and we fit around your operations.
How much does a high-speed door cost in Craigavon?
Our guide price is £7,495 to £15,995 ex VAT for a high-speed fabric door and £17,995 to £34,995 for a spiral (rigid slat) door, supplied and fitted. We survey your Craigavon opening free of charge and then confirm a fixed price in writing.
Can you fit a high-speed door alongside our existing door in Craigavon?
Often, yes. A high-speed door can sit inside or outside an existing shutter or sectional door, with the conventional door closed at night. We check the space and fixings on survey.
