- Clear pricing. You know the visit charge before we arrive and the repair price before we order.
- Most makes. We work on doors from many manufacturers, not just the ones we supply.
What this work can involve
- Replacing dented panels on a sectional loading door and adjusting the tracks so the door runs square.
- Freeing seized trolleys on a heavy sliding door so it can be moved by hand again.
- Diagnosing a door that reverses without obvious cause, such as a damaged safety edge or misaligned photocells, and fixing it.
Who is responsible for door safety at a site in Wellingborough?
In England, two sets of duties meet at a powered door. The installer who supplies or motorises it must hand over a door that meets the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008, tested against BS EN 12453 and documented. The business in control of the premises must then maintain it: regulation 5 of the Workplace Regulations 1992 covers maintenance, and regulation 18 requires upward-opening doors to have a device that stops them falling back and powered doors to have features that prevent trapping.
How the work is organised
Testing and repairs can mean closing an opening, so we agree timing and access with you before the visit, including early, late or weekend slots where the site needs them.

Stop using the door, keep people clear of the area beneath it and do not try to open it with the motor. Call for a repair; springs store energy and should only be handled by a trained engineer.
