Options for PVC strip curtains in Gosport
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
Jobs we can carry out
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Gosport must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
Sites in and around Gosport vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.

Your questions about PVC strip curtains
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Gosport site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Hampshire?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Hampshire to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Gosport?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Gosport in writing after a free survey.
