Fabric doors. PVC-coated fabric roll-up doors for internal routes and sheltered external openings.
Inverter drives. Soft start and stop protect the curtain and drive at high cycle rates.
Spiral doors. Rigid insulated slats on a spiral for fast, secure, wind-resistant external doors.
Vision panels. Clear vision strips or windows so drivers can see through the closed door.
Smart activation. Radar, loops, pull cords or interlocks set to the traffic using the door.

Examples of work we can quote for

Replacing a worn fabric curtain, bottom bar and drive belt on a door logging thousands of cycles a week.
Installing an insulated spiral door as the main external opening on a temperature-controlled distribution unit.
Fitting a self-repairing fabric door between production and dispatch where a conventional shutter stands open all shift.

Powered door rules that apply in Ketton

Ketton is in England, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.

How the work is organised

If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.

Questions from businesses in Ketton

Do high-speed doors in Ketton need more servicing than standard doors?

Usually, yes, because they cycle so often. We base the service interval on the cycle counter and the manufacturer's guidance rather than a fixed annual visit, and can set up a planned maintenance schedule.

Can you fit a high-speed door alongside our existing door in Ketton?

Often, yes. A high-speed door can sit inside or outside an existing shutter or sectional door, with the conventional door closed at night. We check the space and fixings on survey.

How long does it take to install a high-speed door in Ketton?

A typical fabric door is fitted and commissioned in a day once it arrives. Spiral doors, interlocks and floor loops add time. The manufacturer's lead time is confirmed with your quote, and we fit around your operations.
