Options that matter on site

Drives and controls. Direct, centre or chain drive motors with buttons, remotes, loops, radar or interlocks.
Conformity paperwork. Handover includes the product and machinery conformity documents plus commissioning records.
Aftercare. Once fitted, we can service the door on a schedule and repair it, along with doors from other installers.
Loading equipment. The door, leveller, shelter and impact protection are specified together so the whole bay works as one.
Safety set-up. Powered doors fitted with safety edges or light curtains and force-tested to BS EN 12453.

Jobs we can carry out

Supplying a bottom-rolling sliding door for a wide opening where there is no headroom for a coiled or tracked door.
Installing a fire shutter in a compartment wall where a conveyor line passes between production and dispatch areas.
Fitting a freezer door with heated frame and inside release to a new cold room within a food production unit.

Safety law for industrial doors in England

Industrial doors in Sandhurst are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

Keeping your site running during the work

If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.
