Jobs we can carry out

Replacing corroded roller shutters on a vehicle workshop with insulated roller doors and new key-switch controls.
Supplying a bottom-rolling sliding door for a wide opening where there is no headroom for a coiled or tracked door.
Phasing the replacement of several loading bay doors over consecutive weekends so goods-in stays open during the week.

Powered door rules that apply in Cheltenham

Cheltenham is in England, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.

Planning the work around your site

Electrical work is the part that most often delays a job. If a new or converted door needs a supply, we confirm the motor's requirement at quote stage so your electrician can provide an isolator in the right place before installation day.
