Postcode district: WA3
Area: Greater Manchester
Survey: Free for new installations

Options that matter on site

Aftercare. Planned maintenance and repairs available for the doors we fit and most other makes.
Loading equipment. The door, leveller, shelter and impact protection are specified together so the whole bay works as one.
Drives and controls. Direct, centre or chain drive motors with buttons, remotes, loops, radar or interlocks.
Safety set-up. Each motorised door gets the safety devices its risk assessment calls for and is force-tested before use.
Free survey. Opening, headroom, obstructions, fixings and power all measured before we quote.

Jobs we can carry out

Supplying a bottom-rolling sliding door for a wide opening where there is no headroom for a coiled or tracked door.
Fitting a freezer door with heated frame and inside release to a new cold room within a food production unit.
Phasing the replacement of several loading bay doors over consecutive weekends so goods-in stays open during the week.

Safety law for industrial doors in England

Industrial doors in Golborne are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

Keeping your site running during the work

For busy sites in Greater Manchester the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.
