Industrial door installation in Llangefni

The short version

Facilities and site managers in Llangefni can use one contractor to specify, install and commission industrial doors and the loading equipment around them, so one team is responsible for the whole opening.

Town: Llangefni
Postcode district: LL77
Area: Gwynedd
Survey: Free for new installations

What we fit in Llangefni

Free survey. We measure and inspect the opening first, so the price reflects your building rather than a guess.
Aftercare. Planned maintenance and repairs available for the doors we fit and most other makes.
Loading equipment. The door, leveller, shelter and impact protection are specified together so the whole bay works as one.
Drives and controls. Direct, centre or chain drive motors with buttons, remotes, loops, radar or interlocks.
Fixed price. You receive the price in writing once the survey is done, and it is agreed before anyone starts work.

Examples of work we can quote for

Installing a fire shutter in a compartment wall where a conveyor line passes between production and dispatch areas.
Adding a high-speed fabric door inside an existing shutter so the main door can stay open through the working day.
Supplying a bottom-rolling sliding door for a wide opening where there is no headroom for a coiled or tracked door.

Safety law for industrial doors in Wales

Industrial doors in Llangefni are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

Planning the work around your site

For busy sites in Gwynedd the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.

Questions from businesses in Llangefni

Who signs off a new powered door at our Llangefni site?

When we assemble or motorise a door, we take on the manufacturer's role under machinery law: risk assessment, testing, conformity marking and the Declaration of Conformity. You then keep the door maintained as the employer or occupier.

Can you replace an old door at our Llangefni unit and take the old one away?

Yes. Strip-out and disposal of the old door is priced as a separate line, along with any new framing or making good the opening needs. We confirm these details at survey so nothing is left to agree on the day.

Is the survey free for sites in Llangefni?

Yes, for new installations and replacements. We measure the opening and the space around it, check fixings, power and obstructions, and talk through how the door is used before preparing a written quote. Repair and service visits are charged separately.
