What to specify

All door types. Roller shutters, insulated roller, sectional, high-speed, fire, sliding, hangar and cold store doors.
Drives and controls. Direct, centre or chain drive motors with buttons, remotes, loops, radar or interlocks.
Free survey. Opening, headroom, obstructions, fixings and power all measured before we quote.
Conformity paperwork. Declaration of Performance, Declaration of Conformity and user instructions on handover.
Safety set-up. Each motorised door gets the safety devices its risk assessment calls for and is force-tested before use.

Jobs we can carry out

Adding a high-speed fabric door inside an existing shutter so the main door can stay open through the working day.
Fitting sectional doors, a high-speed internal door and steel personnel doors to a new-build warehouse as one coordinated package.
Supplying a bottom-rolling sliding door for a wide opening where there is no headroom for a coiled or tracked door.

Powered door rules that apply in Brierley Hill

Brierley Hill is in England, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.
