Options for industrial roller shutters in Leamington Spa

Steel curtains. Galvanised steel laths in gauges to suit the width and the level of abuse expected.
Safety devices. Safety edges, photocells and anti-fall devices on powered shutters.
Security. Locking options for everyday security, and certified rated shutters where insurers ask for them.
Compact coil. The curtain winds onto a barrel above the opening, leaving floor and roof space free.

Examples of work we can quote for

Renewing the bottom rail, floor seal and end locks on a roller shutter that jams in its guides.
Fitting a galvanised roller shutter to a new bin store or recycling compound, with a lockable bottom rail.
Replacing a vehicle-damaged shutter in a trade yard with a heavier-gauge curtain and guide-rail protection.

Who is responsible for door safety at a site in Leamington Spa?

In England, two sets of duties meet at a powered door. The installer who supplies or motorises it must hand over a door that meets the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008, tested against BS EN 12453 and documented. The business in control of the premises must then maintain it: regulation 5 of the Workplace Regulations 1992 covers maintenance, and regulation 18 requires upward-opening doors to have a device that stops them falling back and powered doors to have features that prevent trapping.

How the work is organised

Sites in and around Leamington Spa vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.
