What we fit in Dungannon
- Controls. Buttons, key switches, remotes, induction loops or radar to suit your traffic.
- Wind locks. Lath end locks for exposed or wide doors to stop the curtain blowing out.
- Compact coil. The curtain coils above the opening, leaving ceilings free for lights and sprinklers.
- Weather seals. Brush or rubber guide seals and a rubber bottom seal against draughts and rain.
- Colour choice. Powder-coated RAL finishes to match cladding and building trims.
What this work can involve
- Renewing worn guide brushes, the head seal and the bottom-rail seal on an insulated roller door that lets in draughts.
- Adding wind locks and a heavier geared motor to a wide insulated roller door on an exposed elevation.
- Fitting an insulated roller door to a trade counter unit where sprinkler mains leave no room for sectional door tracks.
Who is responsible for door safety at a site in Dungannon?
In Northern Ireland, the business in control of the premises must keep doors and gates safe under the Workplace Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1993 and maintain work equipment under PUWER (Northern Ireland) 1999, with HSENI as the regulator. The installer who supplies or motorises a door hands over the conformity documents and user instructions; CE marking remains the relevant mark for machinery here.
Access, phasing and timing
Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.

Your questions about insulated roller shutter doors
Is there enough headroom for an insulated roller door at our Dungannon unit?
The coil on an insulated curtain is larger than on a single-skin shutter, so we measure the space above the lintel on survey. Where headroom is very tight, the coil can sometimes be fitted outside the opening or a lower-profile option chosen.
Does a powered insulated roller door in Dungannon need safety devices?
If the door closes automatically or can trap someone, yes. The risk assessment decides what is needed, typically a safety edge, photocells and closing forces tested to BS EN 12453, plus anti-fall protection on heavier curtains.
