Examples of work we can quote for
- Identifying a worn spring on a busy sectional door during a service and replacing it before it breaks.

Who is responsible for door safety at a site in Fife?
In Scotland, two sets of duties meet at a powered door. The installer who supplies or motorises it must hand over a door that meets the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008, tested against BS EN 12453 and documented. The business in control of the premises must then maintain it: regulation 5 of the Workplace Regulations 1992 covers maintenance, and regulation 18 requires upward-opening doors to have a device that stops them falling back and powered doors to have features that prevent trapping.
Access, phasing and timing
Testing and repairs can mean closing an opening, so we agree timing and access with you before the visit, including early, late or weekend slots where the site needs them.

Can you service doors at several sites across Scotland?
Yes. We can set up planned maintenance across multiple sites in Scotland under one contract, with consistent reports and a combined asset register, and schedule visits to suit each site.
