Options that matter on site

Insulated panels. Steel sandwich panels with a foam core keep heat in and noise out; thicker panels are available for temperature-controlled units.
Electric drives. Motorised operation with the controls you need, from a simple push-button station to induction loops and radar.
Finishes. RAL colours to match cladding, with stucco or woodgrain embossing on the outer skin.
Paperwork. You get the manufacturer's Declaration of Performance plus commissioning and test records for your files.
Vision panels. Add a row of vision panels or full-vision aluminium sections for daylight and a clear view of vehicles outside.

Examples of work we can quote for

Adding induction loops and an inverter drive so forklifts can open a busy internal sectional door without stopping.
Supplying full-vision aluminium sections for a vehicle workshop door so technicians get daylight without opening the door.
Fitting a bank of insulated sectional doors to a new distribution unit, with high-lift tracks to clear sprinkler mains and lighting.

Safety law for industrial doors in England

Industrial doors in Chester are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

Keeping your site running during the work

Before work starts we send a method statement and risk assessment, confirm who on site will be our contact and agree where materials and access equipment will go. On shared industrial estates that can mean booking yard space with the landlord.
