Wicket doors. Integrated pass doors, including low-threshold versions, for staff access without opening the main door.

Typical scopes of work

Supplying full-vision aluminium sections for a vehicle workshop door so technicians get daylight without opening the door.
Adding induction loops and an inverter drive so forklifts can open a busy internal sectional door without stopping.
Replacing a draughty single-skin roller shutter with an insulated sectional door and a low-threshold wicket door.

Powered door rules that apply in Seaford

Seaford is in England, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.

Keeping your site running during the work

Most installations in Seaford can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.
