What we fit in Stevenage

Vision panels. Glazed rows or full-vision sections bring daylight in and let drivers see the yard.
Track layouts. Standard, low headroom, high lift and vertical lift tracks, chosen after measuring your headroom.
Wicket doors. A pass door built into the panels saves opening the whole door for pedestrians; low-threshold options reduce trips.
Finishes. RAL colours to match cladding, with stucco or woodgrain embossing on the outer skin.
Paperwork. You get the manufacturer's Declaration of Performance plus commissioning and test records for your files.

Jobs we can carry out

Supplying full-vision aluminium sections for a vehicle workshop door so technicians get daylight without opening the door.
Supplying sectional doors in a RAL colour matched to the existing cladding as part of a unit refurbishment between tenants.
Adding induction loops and an inverter drive so forklifts can open a busy internal sectional door without stopping.

Safety law for industrial doors in England

Industrial doors in Stevenage are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

How the work is organised

Sites in and around Stevenage vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.

Questions from businesses in Stevenage

Do you survey sites in Stevenage before quoting?

Yes. Surveys for new and replacement doors are free. We measure the opening, headroom and obstructions, check the fixings and power supply, and discuss how the door will be used before we price it.

Can you replace a roller shutter with a sectional door at our Stevenage unit?

Usually, yes, provided there is enough headroom and side room for the tracks. Low-headroom track kits cover many older units. We check this on the survey and include strip-out and making good in the quote.

How soon can a sectional door be fitted in Stevenage?

Sectional doors are made to measure, so the manufacturer's lead time sets the date. We confirm it with the quote, book installation around your operations and fit most single doors in a day once the opening is ready.
