Options for sliding and folding industrial doors in Southall

Wide spans. Very wide openings are handled by adding leaves, so width is rarely a limit.
Insulated options. Insulated panel infill and edge seals for heated buildings.
Wicket doors. Pass doors built into a leaf so staff need not open the whole door.
Electric operation. Motor drives with safety edges, photocells and guarding where needed.
Top-hung or bottom-rolling. Weight carried overhead or on a floor rail, chosen to suit the structure.

Examples of work we can quote for

Replacing a damaged floor rail and guide wheels on a bottom-rolling door struck by a vehicle.
Installing telescopic sliding doors where the wall space to one side is limited by an adjoining structure.
Fitting bi-folding doors to a maintenance workshop where overhead gantry cranes rule out a roller shutter or sectional door.

Powered door rules that apply in Southall

Southall is in England, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.
