What to specify

Insulated options. Leaves can be filled with insulated panels and sealed along their edges to cut heat loss.
Folding leaves. Where there is little wall either side, folding leaves concertina into a compact stack.
Wide spans. Very wide openings are handled by adding leaves, so width is rarely a limit.
No headroom needed. Leaves move sideways, so nothing coils above or runs under the roof.
Robust build. Steel-framed leaves with steel, panel or timber cladding.

Jobs we can carry out

Automating a pair of heavy bi-parting sliding doors with a drive motor, safety edges and photocells.
Supplying insulated sliding leaves with edge seals for a converted building now used as a heated workshop.
Replacing a damaged floor rail and guide wheels on a bottom-rolling door struck by a vehicle.

Safety law for industrial doors in England

Industrial doors in Yateley are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.

Access, phasing and timing

For busy sites in Hampshire the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.
