Quick answer
For agricultural and industrial buildings in Bracknell, we can replace worn sliding doors, upgrade them with new tracks and leaves, or automate them with the safety devices a powered door needs.

- Bracknell
- Postcode district

- Area
- Berkshire

- Free for new installations
Options that matter on site
- Insulated options. Insulated panel infill and edge seals for heated buildings.
- Wide spans. Very wide openings are handled by adding leaves, so width is rarely a limit.
- Electric operation. Motorised leaves with the safety devices needed to protect against crushing and shearing.
- Top-hung or bottom-rolling. Weight carried overhead or on a floor rail, chosen to suit the structure.
- Folding leaves. Where there is little wall either side, folding leaves concertina into a compact stack.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Replacing worn timber sliding doors on a storage building with steel-framed bottom-rolling doors and a wicket door.
- Installing telescopic sliding doors where the wall space to one side is limited by an adjoining structure.
- Adding a steel support beam and top-hung track so a sliding door leaves the floor flush for forklifts.
Safety law for industrial doors in England
Industrial doors in Bracknell are covered by the same rules as the rest of Great Britain. On handover you should receive user instructions and, for a powered door, the conformity paperwork, because the installer is treated as the manufacturer when they assemble or motorise it. Afterwards, keeping the door in efficient working order is the occupier's job under the Workplace Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998, which in practice means regular servicing and a written log.
Keeping your site running during the work
Before work starts we send a method statement and risk assessment, confirm who on site will be our contact and agree where materials and access equipment will go. On shared industrial estates that can mean booking yard space with the landlord.

Frequently asked questions
How much do sliding or folding industrial doors cost in Bracknell?
Our guide price is £5,995 to £24,995 ex VAT, supplied and fitted, depending on size, number of leaves, infill and whether the doors are manual or electric. After a free survey in Bracknell we confirm the fixed price in writing.
How long does it take to fit sliding doors in Bracknell?
A pair of manual sliding doors on a sound structure is usually fitted in a day or two. Large folding doors, electric operation and new steelwork add time, which we set out with your quote.
Which is better for our Bracknell site, top-hung or bottom-rolling?
Top-hung keeps the floor flush but needs a strong structure overhead. Bottom-rolling suits lighter buildings but needs a clean, protected floor rail. We recommend one after checking both on survey.
