Quick answer
Strip curtains are the simplest way to part-close a busy opening in Bracknell (RG12). Hook-on strips make wear easy to deal with, ribbed strips cope with forklifts, and polar grades keep working in freezers.

Options for PVC strip curtains in Bracknell
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Traffic route rules that apply in Bracknell
Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.
Access, phasing and timing
If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.

PVC strip curtains in Bracknell: your questions
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Bracknell site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Bracknell?
Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
Which strip curtain grade suits our Bracknell premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
