Options that matter on site

Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.

Typical scopes of work

Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Yateley must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

How the work is organised

Downtime matters on a working site, so the programme is set around your shifts. For a single door the opening is usually needed for a day; multi-door jobs are done one bay at a time so deliveries keep moving.

Questions from businesses in Yateley

How much is a PVC strip curtain in Yateley?

Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Yateley in writing after a free survey.

How often should strip curtains in Yateley be replaced?

It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.

Which strip curtain grade suits our Yateley premises?

Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
