Options for steel personnel and fire exit doors in Yateley

Fire-rated doorsets. Fire-resisting steel doors with the manufacturer's test evidence, fitted to its instructions.
Panic hardware. Where visitors or the public might need to escape, we fit full-width panic bars to BS EN 1125.
Security options. From hinge bolts to certified security doorsets, the door can be specified to resist attack.
Complete doorsets. Everything comes together as a matched doorset, so it fits and works as designed.
Louvres and vision. Louvred leaves for plant rooms and vision panels where visibility helps.

Jobs we can carry out

Replacing a rotted timber fire exit door with a galvanised steel doorset and a BS EN 1125 panic bar.
Fitting hinge bolts and a multi-point lock to a steel back door to resist levering and forced entry.
Supplying 60-minute fire-resisting steel doorsets for the compartment walls set out in a building's fire strategy.

Door rules for workplaces in England

Doors in Yateley workplaces are covered by regulation 18 of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992: a door that can be pushed open from either side must give, when closed, a clear view of the space close to both sides, which is why swing doors on traffic routes have vision panels. Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, emergency exit doors must open easily and immediately in the direction of escape.

Access, phasing and timing

For busy sites in Hampshire the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.
