What we fit in Bridgnorth

Wicket doors. A personnel door within a leaf saves sliding the main door for every visit.
Insulated options. Leaves can be filled with insulated panels and sealed along their edges to cut heat loss.
Top-hung or bottom-rolling. We hang the door from above or run it on a floor rail depending on what the building can support.
Robust build. Steel frames carry cladding to suit the building, from profiled steel to timber boarding.
Folding leaves. Bi-folding leaves stack neatly where side wall space is limited.

Typical scopes of work

Supplying insulated sliding leaves with edge seals for a converted building now used as a heated workshop.
Installing telescopic sliding doors where the wall space to one side is limited by an adjoining structure.
Automating a pair of heavy bi-parting sliding doors with a drive motor, safety edges and photocells.

Powered door rules that apply in Bridgnorth

Bridgnorth is in England, where powered industrial doors fall under Great Britain's health and safety law. Whoever makes a door powered — including converting a manual door — usually takes on the manufacturer's duties under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008: risk assessment, technical file, conformity marking and a Declaration of Conformity. Once it is in use, the employer or occupier must keep it safe under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and PUWER 1998.
