What we fit in Wilmslow
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
Jobs we can carry out
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Wilmslow must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.

Frequently asked questions
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Cheshire?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Cheshire to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Wilmslow?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Wilmslow in writing after a free survey.
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Wilmslow site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
