Options for PVC strip curtains in Canvey Island

Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.

Typical scopes of work

Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Canvey Island must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Access, phasing and timing

Before work starts we send a method statement and risk assessment, confirm who on site will be our contact and agree where materials and access equipment will go. On shared industrial estates that can mean booking yard space with the landlord.

Your questions about PVC strip curtains

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Canvey Island site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Canvey Island?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Canvey Island?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
