In short
Losing heat or chilled air through a door left open all day at your Essex site? A PVC strip curtain lets people and vehicles pass freely while cutting draughts, dust, noise and insects.

Options that matter on site
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Essex must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
How the work is organised
Before work starts we send a method statement and risk assessment, confirm who on site will be our contact and agree where materials and access equipment will go. On shared industrial estates that can mean booking yard space with the landlord.

Questions from businesses in Essex
How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Essex?
Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Essex?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Essex in writing after a free survey.
Which strip curtain grade suits our Essex premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
