Options for PVC strip curtains in Braintree
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
Traffic route rules that apply in Braintree
Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.
Keeping your site running during the work
Most installations in Braintree can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.
