Options that matter on site
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
Typical scopes of work
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Chelmsford must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Keeping your site running during the work
Downtime matters on a working site, so the programme is set around your shifts. For a single door the opening is usually needed for a day; multi-door jobs are done one bay at a time so deliveries keep moving.
