What we fit in Sudbury

Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.

What this work can involve

Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.

Traffic route rules that apply in Sudbury

Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.

Planning the work around your site

PVC strip curtains in Sudbury: your questions

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

How much is a PVC strip curtain in Sudbury?

Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Sudbury in writing after a free survey.

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Sudbury?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
