Options for PVC strip curtains in Cambridgeshire
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
Typical scopes of work
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Cambridgeshire must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Keeping your site running during the work
Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.
