What we fit in Northamptonshire
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
Jobs we can carry out
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Northamptonshire must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Keeping your site running during the work
If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.
