Options that matter on site
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
Typical scopes of work
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Daventry must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Daventry?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Daventry in writing after a free survey.
