What we fit in Coventry

Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.

Typical scopes of work

Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.

Traffic route rules that apply in Coventry

Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.

Keeping your site running during the work

Sites in and around Coventry vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.

Questions from businesses in Coventry

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Coventry site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

Do strip curtains work in cold stores around the West Midlands?

Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across the West Midlands to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.

How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Coventry?

Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
