What we fit in Northampton
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
Typical scopes of work
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Northampton must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
Downtime matters on a working site, so the programme is set around your shifts. For a single door the opening is usually needed for a day; multi-door jobs are done one bay at a time so deliveries keep moving.
