Quick answer
Losing heat or chilled air through a door left open all day at your Wisbech site? A PVC strip curtain lets people and vehicles pass freely while cutting draughts, dust, noise and insects.

What to specify
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
What this work can involve
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Wisbech must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Planning the work around your site
Sites in and around Wisbech vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.
