What to specify
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
Jobs we can carry out
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in King's Lynn must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
Where a door is being replaced, the opening has to be made secure at the end of each day. We plan strip-out, any new framing and the new door so the gap is never left open overnight unless you have agreed temporary measures.
