What we fit in Skegness
- Sliding rails. Where big loads come through, the curtain can slide or swing out of the way.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
Jobs we can carry out
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Skegness must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
For busy sites in Lincolnshire the work can be split across visits — preparation and framing first, door installation and commissioning second — so the opening is only out of action for the shortest time.

Questions from businesses in Skegness
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Lincolnshire?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Lincolnshire to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Skegness?
Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
How often should strip curtains in Skegness be replaced?
It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.
