Options that matter on site
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Traffic passes freely. Nothing to open or close: traffic simply pushes through and the strips drop back.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
Jobs we can carry out
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Colchester must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
How the work is organised
If your premises are leased, check whether the landlord needs to approve the work. We can provide drawings and product data for the landlord or managing agent before the order is placed.
