What to specify
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
Examples of work we can quote for
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Putney must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
