PVC strip curtains in Shepherd's Bush

Quick answer

Strip curtains are the simplest way to part-close a busy opening in Shepherd's Bush (W12). Hook-on strips make wear easy to deal with, ribbed strips cope with forklifts, and polar grades keep working in freezers.

What we fit in Shepherd's Bush

No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.

Typical scopes of work

Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.

Traffic route rules that apply in Shepherd's Bush

Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.

Your questions about PVC strip curtains

How much is a PVC strip curtain in Shepherd's Bush?

Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Shepherd's Bush in writing after a free survey.

Which strip curtain grade suits our Shepherd's Bush premises?

Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Shepherd's Bush site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
