What we fit in Heywood

Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.

Typical scopes of work

Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Heywood must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Planning the work around your site

Before work starts we send a method statement and risk assessment, confirm who on site will be our contact and agree where materials and access equipment will go. On shared industrial estates that can mean booking yard space with the landlord.

Frequently asked questions

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Heywood?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.

Which strip curtain grade suits our Heywood premises?

Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.

How often should strip curtains in Heywood be replaced?

It depends on traffic. Pedestrian doorways can go years between changes; busy forklift routes need new strips sooner. Replace any strip that is torn, cloudy or badly scratched so visibility stays good.
