Options that matter on site
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
What this work can involve
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Lancashire must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
Sites in and around Lancashire vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.

PVC strip curtains in Lancashire: your questions
Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Lancashire?
Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Lancashire site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Lancashire?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Lancashire in writing after a free survey.
