What we fit in Ormskirk
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Hook-on strips. Worn strips lift off and new ones hook on in seconds.
- Polar grade. Freezer-grade strips stay soft and pliable instead of stiffening in the cold.
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
What this work can involve
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Ormskirk must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
How the work is organised
Downtime matters on a working site, so the programme is set around your shifts. For a single door the opening is usually needed for a day; multi-door jobs are done one bay at a time so deliveries keep moving.

Questions from businesses in Ormskirk
Which strip curtain grade suits our Ormskirk premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Lancashire?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Lancashire to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Ormskirk?
Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
