What we fit in Thornton-Cleveleys
- No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
Jobs we can carry out
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Adding a swing-away rail so a strip curtain can be moved clear for long or oversized loads.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Keeping strip curtains safe in England
The business running the site in Thornton-Cleveleys must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
How the work is organised
Downtime matters on a working site, so the programme is set around your shifts. For a single door the opening is usually needed for a day; multi-door jobs are done one bay at a time so deliveries keep moving.

Frequently asked questions
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Thornton-Cleveleys site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
Which strip curtain grade suits our Thornton-Cleveleys premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Thornton-Cleveleys?
Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
