Options for PVC strip curtains in Totton
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
- Specialist grades. Anti-insect, anti-static and weld-screen strips for specific areas.
- Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
What this work can involve
- Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
Traffic route rules that apply in Totton
Strip curtains sit on workplace traffic routes, so in England the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 apply: traffic routes must be organised so pedestrians and vehicles can move safely (regulation 17) and kept in good repair (regulation 5). That is why clear strips, good visibility and prompt replacement of scratched or missing strips matter.
How the work is organised
Sites in and around Totton vary from tight trade counters to large distribution yards. The survey records access for our vehicle and platform, overhead obstructions and floor condition so the installation day runs without surprises.

PVC strip curtains in Totton: your questions
Which strip curtain grade suits our Totton premises?
Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.
How quickly can strip curtains be fitted in Totton?
Once strips are cut to length, fitting usually takes an hour or two per doorway, so several openings can often be completed in one visit with very little disruption to your operations.
Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Totton?
Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
