What we fit in Winchester

Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
Draught control. Strips cut the loss of heated or chilled air through busy openings.
No power. With no electrics involved, the curtain keeps working with only cleaning and strip renewal.
Ribbed strips. Ribs protect the clear face of each strip from scratches on busy vehicle routes.
Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.

Typical scopes of work

Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
Supplying replacement strips cut to length for existing hook-on rails across several doorways in one visit.

Keeping strip curtains safe in England

The business running the site in Winchester must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.

Frequently asked questions

Which strip curtain grade suits our Winchester premises?

Standard clear PVC suits most ambient doorways. Polar grade is needed for chillers and freezers, ribbed strips for heavy forklift routes, and tinted grades for insect control or welding areas. We recommend a grade after seeing the opening.

Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Winchester site?

A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.

Can you supply replacement strips for our existing curtains in Winchester?

Yes. We supply replacement strips cut to the right length for your existing rail, matched to the grade and width already fitted, and can fit them or leave them for your team.
