What we fit in Crieff
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
Jobs we can carry out
- Fitting anti-insect strips to the rear door of a bakery or food unit to deter flying insects.
- Hanging a polar-grade strip curtain behind a cold store door to reduce the cold air lost during loading.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
Keeping strip curtains safe in Scotland
The business running the site in Crieff must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Access, phasing and timing
Downtime matters on a working site, so the programme is set around your shifts. For a single door the opening is usually needed for a day; multi-door jobs are done one bay at a time so deliveries keep moving.
