In short
Losing heat or chilled air through a door left open all day at your Clydebank site? A PVC strip curtain lets people and vehicles pass freely while cutting draughts, dust, noise and insects.

Options that matter on site
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- No power. No motors, sensors or controls, so almost nothing to go wrong.
- Traffic passes freely. People, trolleys and forklifts push straight through the overlapping strips.
- Sliding rails. Sliding or swing-away rails move the curtain clear for oversized loads.
Jobs we can carry out
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
- Supplying polar-grade strips for a freezer doorway where standard PVC stiffens and cracks in the cold.
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Keeping strip curtains safe in Scotland
The business running the site in Clydebank must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
Planning the work around your site
Most installations in Clydebank can be phased so part of the site keeps working. We agree access routes, exclusion zones and any temporary security with you before the team arrives, and can work early mornings, evenings or weekends where the business needs it.

Frequently asked questions
Is a strip curtain or a high-speed door better for our Clydebank site?
A strip curtain costs far less and suits most openings. A high-speed door seals better, keeps a clear view and suits very busy or temperature-critical openings. We price both where either could work.
Do strip curtains work in cold stores around Renfrewshire and Dunbartonshire?
Yes, with polar-grade PVC that stays flexible at low temperatures. We fit strip curtains inside cold store and freezer doors across Renfrewshire and Dunbartonshire to cut the cold air lost while doors are open.
How much is a PVC strip curtain in Clydebank?
Our guide price is £175 to £895 ex VAT per doorway, supplied and fitted, depending on opening size, strip grade and rail type. We confirm the fixed price for your openings in Clydebank in writing after a free survey.
