What we fit in Port Talbot
- Polar grade. Low-temperature PVC that stays flexible in chillers and freezers.
- Hook-on strips. Replace a single damaged strip without taking the whole curtain down.
- Specialist grades. Tinted strips for insect control or welding bays, and anti-static grades where needed.
- Draught control. A curtain across the opening holds back draughts and helps keep temperatures steady.
- Ribbed strips. Raised ribs take forklift and pallet abrasion, keeping strips clearer for longer.
Jobs we can carry out
- Fitting ribbed PVC strip curtains inside loading bay doors so the doors can stay open between deliveries.
- Replacing scratched, cloudy strips on a forklift route so drivers and pedestrians can see each other clearly.
- Installing weld-screen strip curtains around welding bays in a fabrication workshop to protect nearby staff.
Keeping strip curtains safe in Wales
The business running the site in Port Talbot must keep traffic routes safe and equipment maintained under the Workplace Regulations 1992. For strip curtains that means clear, undamaged strips that let drivers and pedestrians see each other, and a separate pedestrian route where traffic is heavy.
